§ 1
Who can offer
Experiences and services are added from a host account. The provider makes the agreement directly with the guest, and we arrange it in the same way as for places to stay.
- You must have the skills, training and permits the activity requires, for example guide training, a snowmobile licence, a registered food business or an alcohol licence.
- You must have liability insurance that covers the activity. We may ask for proof before the listing is published.
- If you run the activity as a business, say so, with the name, registration number and tax registration.
§ 2
An accurate description
- Describe what is included, how long it takes, where you meet, what level is needed and what the guest should bring.
- The person named in the listing leads the experience or provides the service, unless it says who does instead.
- Start and finish on time, and change nothing without the guest's agreement.
- The price is the full price. Equipment and fees the guest must pay must be included or clearly stated.
§ 3
Safety
- Tell guests in advance about risks they cannot foresee, and about any requirements for age, health or weight.
- Safety equipment must be available, working and fitted, such as helmets, life jackets or ice picks.
- Have a plan for accidents and weather: how you raise the alarm, who knows first aid and when you cancel.
- Cancel if the weather or conditions make it dangerous. The guest then gets everything back or a new date.
- Whoever leads an activity is never under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Children take part with an adult, unless the listing says otherwise.
§ 4
What is not allowed
- Activities that need a permit you do not have, such as hunting without hunting rights or fishing without a licence.
- Disturbing animals, damaging nature or ancient monuments, or driving off-road where it is forbidden.
- Services that require a professional licence, such as healthcare, if you do not have one.
- Selling alcohol without a licence.
§ 5
Fair prices
We compare prices with similar experiences and services in the area. A price that seems unreasonable may be reviewed before it is published, and we will then ask you to explain it.
§ 6
Cancellation and weather
Experiences and services have their own cancellation policies, shown in the listing. If the provider cancels, the guest always gets everything back.
§ 7
Commission
For experiences and services the provider pays a commission on each booking. It is shown in host mode before you submit and is deducted when the guest pays. The guest pays no fee.
