§ 1
Payment at a glance
- Guest fee: 0 kr, no service fee
- Split payment: 30% when you book, the rest 30 days before arrival
- Late booking: Less than 37 days before arrival you pay everything when you book
- Booking far ahead: If you book more than 85 days before arrival, your card is saved and the first part is charged automatically 85 days before arrival
- The host is paid: 24 hours after check-in
- Host commission: 8% of the rent, including VAT
The figures above come from the same settings that checkout uses, so this page always says the same as checkout.
§ 2
The full price before you book
The price in search, on the listing and at checkout is the full price for the stay, including VAT and every fee the host charges, such as cleaning, linen or pets. Extras are shown separately and are optional. You pay no service fee to us.
If an earlier price is shown crossed out, it is the regular price of the place for the same nights, and the discount is calculated from it.
An obvious mistake in a price, such as one zero too many or too few, is not binding. If it happens we tell you before anything is charged, and you decide whether to book at the correct price.
§ 3
When money is taken
- If you send a request, the amount is reserved on your card and only charged when the host says yes. If the host says no, or does not reply in time, the reservation is released.
- If the place can be booked instantly, payment is taken when you book.
- If you split the payment, the rest is charged automatically to the same card, and you get an email a few days before.
- If the rest is not paid in time, the booking is cancelled under the cancellation policy, as if you had cancelled that day.
Until payment through the service has opened, every booking is a request, and you pay only once the host has confirmed and we have emailed you.
§ 4
Who holds the money
You pay us, and we receive the payment on the host's behalf through our payment partner, a licensed payment institution. The money is held by the payment partner until the host receives it after check-in. Once the payment has been received, you have paid the host.
Your card details go directly to the payment partner. We never see the full card number and do not store it.
Only here
Never pay outside the service, for example by bank transfer, Swish to a private number or a link someone sends you. The guarantee, refunds and payment protection only apply to payments made here. If someone asks you to pay another way, report it.
§ 5
For hosts: payouts
- Payouts go to a bank account in your own name, after the payment partner's identity check.
- You get a statement for each booking: the rent, the commission, the VAT on the commission, any deductions and the amount paid out.
- We may hold back a payout while a case about the booking is open, when the identity check or the information for the Swedish Tax Agency is missing, or when the law or an authority requires it.
- If money is refunded to the guest after the payout, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
- You may never take payment for a stay or an extra outside the service, and never ask for a deposit.
Every year we report the rent you received through the service to the Swedish Tax Agency (DAC7). You are responsible for your own tax and VAT.
§ 6
Refunds
Money is refunded the same way you paid. How long it takes to show depends on your bank, usually a few banking days.
How much you get back when you cancel is set out in the cancellation policy. If the host cancels, or the place is double-booked, you always get back everything you paid.
All prices are in Swedish kronor. If your card is in another currency, your bank may charge a fee for the exchange.
§ 7
Your receipt
You get a receipt in your account and by email. The receipt is issued in the host's name and states that we arranged the rental.
