  • The terms prevail if anything differs.

§ 1

Before you book

  • Read the listing, the house rules and the cancellation policy. What you accept at checkout is what applies.
  • Enter the right number of adults, children and pets. Only the people in the booking may stay.
  • The person booking must be at least 18 and stay there themselves, unless the host has agreed otherwise.
  • Ask the host in messages if something matters to you. The answer stays in the booking.

§ 2

The house rules

The house rules are shown on the listing and at checkout and are part of your agreement with the host. They apply to you and everyone in your group.

  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, only where the host has said yes.
  • No parties or events unless the host has said yes.
  • Quiet hours as stated in the listing, and consideration for neighbours around the clock.
  • Pets only when they are welcome and included in the booking. Guide and assistance dogs are always welcome.
  • Commercial photography or filming only with the host's permission.

§ 3

During your stay

  • Arrive and leave at the check-in and check-out times in the booking.
  • Treat the place with care and use it only for what it is meant for.
  • Follow the instructions for the stove, sauna, cooker and barbecue. Never leave candles or a lit stove unattended.
  • Follow the Right of Public Access and local rules, such as fire bans.
  • Tell the host straight away if something breaks, and at the latest when you leave.

§ 4

When you leave

  • Leave the place as you found it, and clean as described in the listing if cleaning is not included.
  • Sort the rubbish as instructed.
  • Lock up and leave the keys as the host has described.

§ 5

If something is not right

Tell us as soon as you notice, ideally before you unpack. Take photos and write in the booking. Give the host a chance to fix it, and contact us if that is not possible. Read more under complaints and disputes and the guarantee in the terms.

§ 6

If the rules are broken

If you break the house rules or these commitments, the host may claim compensation for damage and extra costs, see damage and compensation. For serious breaches, such as a party that disturbs the neighbours or more guests than booked, the stay may be ended without a refund and the account suspended.
